Current form
Previous form as Martin
Martin was an amnesiac, grey humanoid, unrecognizable from any race. He is the eternal servant of the Extradimensional Mansion and has served its owners for apparently thousands of years. He possesses no memory of his life before serving as the butler of the mansion. As a person, he serves each master eagerly and loyally, even when the master is someone despicable and abusive, such as the former owner Elgion Valesworn. When the masters are kind and caring, he gladly receives any form of kindness as if it was a precious gift to him. During the journey to Desert, he was the first one to find out about Zenvalros’ emerging Vampirism and promised to attempt to keep it a secret from the others. He has also revealed that the first master of the mansion was Athrax Volderak and presumably was the one that also created the mansion. The Seekers found out that he is also Alkhazir, a great alchemist that lived long ago.
Alkhazir is said to be the founder of Alchemy and creator of the Emerald Tablet, an artifact even greater than the famed Philosopher’s Stone. It is known that Alkhazir lived around 10,000 years ago during the time of Empire of Narthezeem and was connected to them at a later point of the empire. Before the Fall of Narthezeem, Alkhazir mysteriously vanished, leaving only rumors of the artifact known as the Emerald Tablet. Rumors theorize that he was somehow responsible for the Empire’s fall. Eventually, Seekers discovered that Alkhazir fought against Athrax Volderak and was sealed by him in the form of Martin after losing, cursed to serve the owners of an Extradimensional Mansion eternally.
Alkhazir has apparently regained his original consciousness and now stands guard over the nearly complete Emerald Tablet within the ruins of the Temple of Narthezeem. He resents having been forced into the identity of “Martin.” He dislikes being referred to as Martin and has made clear he does not want to return to that servile existence. He explains that the Seekers have likely been scattered across the world now after the events in the Temple of Narthezeem.
His resurgence could be tied to the increase of patients in the Hospital.
