Laeral Silverhand is one of the Seven Sisters — the seven daughters of Mystra — and one of her most powerful Chosen. Born in 765 DR, she is a legendary archmage who wields silver fire, a destructive and restorative manifestation of raw magical power.
In the late 15th century DR, Laeral serves as the Open Lord of Waterdeep, the public face of the city’s ruling council. She previously worked alongside her partner Khelben “Blackstaff” Arunsun to lead the Moonstars, a dissident faction of the Harpers.
Her sister Alustriel Silverhand rules Silverymoon.
