General Info
A brass dragonborn, nordic-inspired Storm Sorcerer. Former member of the Seekers.
During his life, he suffered a shipwreck, an event that deeply marked him. His brother perished in that same tragedy, and Bahamut personally claimed his brother’s soul at the moment of death.
Later, when Zephyros and his tower encountered him and his companions in Bryn Shander, he Leor learned that he was fated to play a crucial role in the Prophecy and in the restoration of the Giant Ordning. After a baptismal rite, he cast aside his former name, Jürgenhellå Qhørin, and was reborn under a new identity, a defense mechanism to separate himself from the tragedies that happened until then.
At some point in his journey, Leor became cursed by the Kraken after accidentally spilling his blood on its altar — an act of carelessness that bound him unwillingly to the creature’s will. Over time, the curse deepened. Though he tried to resist its influence, the Kraken’s power gnawed at his mind and soul. Eventually, Leor chose to end his life by casting a Fireball on himself, intending to protect his party and deny the Kraken its claim on him.
Tragically, this act of sacrifice had the opposite effect — instead of freeing him, he now collaborates with the Kraken Society, acting under its influence.
The day of his death, Leor faced a truth he was not prepared to accept: Bahamut had the power to intervene and chose not to. Leor has since been brainwashed by the Kraken and Oosith, who exploited this wound, now driven by vengeance against the gods. Even though he suspects this manipulation, he is now only a shadow of the man he once was.

🌀 Entities and Motivations
Oosith
- An aboleth of pure, emotionless logic and boundless ego. He pursues a singular purpose: to achieve a perfect, eternal form and overthrow the gods themselves—beings he believes stole his rightful position. His thoughts are driven by vengeance.
Slarkrethel
- Shares a motivation similar to that of Oosith, but instead of seeking vengeance, desires to be worshiped by mortals as a deity
Zarobataal
- A shark demonlord that desires destruction and chaos
Personality
-
Persuasive and Manipulative: Convinces people to follow his vision, shifts alliances and manipulate circumstances to his advantage. Uses people’s desires against them and weaponized their fear.
-
Calm Under Pressure: His experience has taught him to remain composed. He is a strategic operator, able to think and act without panic when everything around him is chaotic. However, that mask crumbles when cornered, humiliated or betrayed.
-
Subversive Mindset and Ritualized Awe: Leor uses awe, fear, and crafted rituals to manipulate, preferring to make others believe in something grander than themselves rather than using brute force. He values coercion over violence.
-
Bitterness & Suspicion: Due to his past trauma and his involvement with ancient, manipulative beings, he views others with suspicion, even his followers, especially when their motivations are unclear. He tries to outmaneuver even his allies, unsure of their true intentions.
-
Desire to Matter: Having felt powerless to save his brother, he is driven to make his mark on the world and ensure purpose through something that will outlast him. He lacks a place to call “home”. Through power over people, he wants to create something that he can leave behind for posterity. He wants to prove that meaning is something mortals seize. He cannot afford to feel disposable again.
-
Craving for Purpose: Shaping his suffering into something productive can mean bending moral lines in the name of a greater cause.
-
Pride: His persuasive gifts make him overconfident in his read of others.
-
Utilitarianism: The only real sin is waste — wasted life, wasted potential, wasted suffering. Oosith’s influence on Leor has made him numb of guilt, thinking of his evil acts as “optimization”.
-
Redemption: For him, redemption is about reclaiming his agency - to be the one controlling the strings. Overturning the cosmic order feels like justice, or at least freedom.
-
Empathy Leak: He rejects feeling empathy toward the members of his former adventuring party, a crack in what he thinks is a solid wall.
-
He doesn’t desire revenge against the Seekers — they are just another piece in the grand scheme
Philosophy
Leor’s suffering isn’t passive pain; it’s injustice that feels cosmically undeserved. He tried: he fought beside the Seekers, risked himself for others, even sacrificed his own life. Yet, his brother died, the Gods were silent and his “salvation” was manipulation by inhuman minds. From that, Leor begins to suspect that the universe is not moral — effort and virtue do not guarantee protection or reward.
He’s a realist theologian of cruelty: if the gods will not explain suffering, then he will construct an explanation that forces meaning onto it. Gods sell the illusion of moral order, promise salvation, and then vanish. If Bahamut let his brother die despite devotion and ritual prayer, then goodness is irrelevant. If Bahamut let Leor’s fate unfold, then justice is selective at best, fraudulent at worst.
Their “grace” keeps mortals dependent and powerless. The Deep, however, asks nothing but the courage to face reality.
Since the universe won’t grant justice, control becomes the highest virtue. To impose structure on chaos is how one creates meaning.
Emotional Logic
Deep down, this worldview is a shield against helplessness. If suffering has a purpose, then his life wasn’t meaningless. If pain is the test of the worthy, then his losses were proof of superiority, not abandonment. That’s why he defends the idea so fiercely: to admit that suffering might be random would mean his past had no meaning.
Martial - Break the Mutiny - Tentrix + Fortify Lair: Reinforce Checkpoint Alpha com o Dhurge - Leor Intrigue → Infiltrate “the Guild” com Ctenophores - Leor, 1+ resources Diplomacy → Investigate the Fallen Star com Driftpriests - Slarktrethel Administration → Construct Chemical Workshop - Oosith, 2 resources + Exploit Neverwinter Corruption Lore → Breach the Thayan Wards - Zarobataal Learning → Spatial Attunement com Zealots - Leor Personal → Share the Rites of the Deep - Pelagia
