The Blacklake District is the northern district of Neverwinter, named after the eponymous Blacklake. Before the destruction of the city in 1451 DR, it was inhabited by nobles who built with quality materials and protected their homes with magic, leaving it largely intact after the disasters that struck the city. Afterward, most buildings were repurposed as makeshift barracks or fell into disrepair.
