Bog Town is a small settlement near the edge of the Border Mire, where several residents live off fishing, peat gathering, and limited marsh farming. During the Karahl-Guhl attacks Bog Town suffered raids by thralls from the ziggurat and sustained casualties.
Notable residents
- Groundskeeper Nikov — initially a thrall of the mind flayer who retained some semblance of intellect. He was freed from the mind flayer’s control after Karahl-Guhl was defeated and remains wary but cooperative with nearby Alkai Tor.
- Townmaster Ilych — a paranoid leader who lost his son to the thralls. Consumed by grief, he kept his son’s corpse at home out of fear of burying him outside the town. The Seekers helped protect him and Bog Town during later assaults.
Relations Bog Town maintains tenuous ties with Alkai Tor; the two communities rely on each other for supplies and mutual defence against threats that emerge from the marsh.
