In 1486 DR, when the orc chieftain Kaghed Togak was slain near Alkai Tor, Kord briefly granted his spirit a temporary body so that he could make amends with his son Nog Buzzkiller and aid the fight against the illithid Karahl-Guhl. Kaghed ultimately sacrificed himself and passed his legendary maul, “The Last Word,” to Nog.
