An order of wizards founded by Eszteban, the Magnificent whose members collaborate to preserve knowledge and expand the practice of magic in the world.
Known members include Levinia, Baelgrak, Hrimmar, Meredin and Baelgrak. Most of the members are outcasts.
During the crisis at the Luminous Cloud Citadel, internal rivalry among the mages became evident.
Magister Lavinia Brightswan asked the Seekers to convince Eszteban, the Magnificent to rejoin the order and, above all, to recover the Discoveries. In exchange, the party was offered rights to keep anything found in the tower except the discoveries themselves.
The order also allowed an associated-member arrangement to share spell knowledge and access the discoveries under its rules.
Following the death of Eszteban and the arrest of Meredin, the order dissolved its single-leader structure and established a council to govern collectively. Meredin was imprisoned pending the council’s decision on his fate.
The party was granted ongoing access to the tower’s library: they may visit to research scrolls and study the Discoveries, request magical components, and study spells — but must share any new spells they create. Teleportation circles in the library allow direct access. The order has begun negotiations with the Arcane Academy in Silverymoon over a formal institutional partnership.
The active Seekers regrouped at the Order’s tower to plan their return to Luskan, intending to use a teleportation circle in a warehouse outside the city.
