The Speaker’s Palace is the personal residence of the Speaker of Bryn Shander, the individual who represents the settlement to the rest of the Ten Towns.
The “palace” part of its name is an overstatement compared to such buildings elsewhere in the world. It stands so out of place among the rough wood dwellings of Bryn Shander that it looks as if it had been magically transported from some other region of Faerûn.
The building is of Dwarven design, constructed with heavy stone walls and a notable colonnade on its facade — the feature most responsible for its incongruous appearance.
