Mystic Howling-Gale is the long-time shaman and spiritual leader of Alkai Tor. He is the brother of Rolling-Thunder. Renowned for his visions and connection to the tor’s spirits, he warned the village of a terrible presence in the marsh prior to the illithid attacks.
During the Karahl-Guhl crisis Howling-Gale was abducted and taken to the ziggurat. Before his capture he managed to craft a small magic item that later aided the Seekers. After being rescued he began efforts to establish a mystic order in the ruined ziggurat, calling on surviving villagers and allies to preserve the village’s spiritual traditions.
