In the Desert, where divine magic is absent, she serves a crucial role: treating miners afflicted with the Red Plague and removing their mutations through her mastery of biological Truespeech, aided by Doctor Craven’s vaccine. As the sole accomplished healer in Calimsharn, she vigilantly guards this position of power. In 1486 DR, she enlisted the Seekers to hunt down a group of escaped patients infected with an unusual strain of Vampirism who had perpetrated a massacre within the Hospital. Her protection is ensured by Ankhor, her bodyguard and “son” - a massive humanoid who, despite his vocabulary, maintains a childlike mentality.
She will attend a meeting called by the Lord of Knowledge provided that Seraphina leaves the Desert within one month.
