One of their captains was killed by Zarobataal, triggering instability and retaliation cycles in the region.
The council has been badly weakened. Of the known Pirate Lords, one was devoured by a demonic shark, another was killed in an ambush by Krieg, and the main survivors are Tairl, Baram, and Kurt.
