At some point, Razzles stated that Red’s parents had been cultists of Father Rogers.
Don Tigre later revealed that Red was meant to be a sacrifice before Tigre saved him, and suspects Red descends from a powerful fiend of the Nine Hells. Red has asked Razzles for help freeing himself from Father Rogers’ contract and left Rogers’ Scimitar with him.
